Stock Market Volatility… What about mortgage rates?

Hey Guys! I had several past clients reach out this week and ask this question: “I was thinking about refinancing, what will the stock market volatility mean for mortgage rates?” I wanted to share my response with you in case you are thinking or may have that question yourself My short answer is this "Nobody has a crystal ball, but if you have consumer debt (credit cards, home equity lines, variable rate debt) More than likely those rates are also going to be increasing this year So, I would encourage you to fix that with a long term mortgage" Stock market plunges and volatility can be scary But, as long you make wise financial moves, then your long-term financial health will always be secure

Reach out to me if you have any questions or want me to run any numbers for you Have a great day!
