“When I left my job as a federal prosecutor last June, I didn’t expect to spend every spare minute talking about our President,” read one tweet “When Im Attorney General, I plan to do everything I can to stop Trump from taking away our rights and misusing his power,” read another Mariotti, who’s grown his Twitter following to more than 56,000, is upfront about using his anti-Trump stance to fuel his candidacy He promises to use social media, Facebook Live and Periscope to energize voters; this weekend he plans a downstate tour “The argument that Im making is the best way to check Donald Trump is [by] using state attorneys general,” Mariotti told POLITICO
