Hi everybody this is Dave King and today we're going to talk about focusing on the task at hand Specifically, focusing on conversations when we are in our office, on the phone and we have our computer in front of us

In other words, paying attention to the conversation rather than being distracted by emails and things like that, and giving people the attention that they deserve You know, we are all busy but please try to avoid reading emails and doing things like that while you are having a conversation And worse yet, typing out emails whilst you're on the phone You know, people can sense when you're not fully engaged and concentrating on the conversation, when you're distracted and they can certainly hear you pounding on your keyboard, unless you got some sort of keyboard silencer So please take this one to heart

Multitasking is great but it's often inappropriate So focus on the task at hand, give them the attention they deserve and thrive Thanks for watching
